Many of you might not know that the Media Center relies on YOU the parents to run efficiently...But it does!!!!
Ms. Bonfim, our Media Center Specialist, cannot do all that running the library and overseeing technology entails by herself. WDES relies heavily on parent volunteers to help children check in and out books, aid children in finding age appropriate books and restocking the shelves when books are returned.
This is not a large time commitment...
1-2 hours per week/month is all that we ask of our Volunteers.
Ms. Bonfim and our Media Center Coordinator, Natasha Patel, will work with you to make your volunteer time work with your schedule.
